Environmental Remediation

Managing environmental problems at petroleum sites requires thorough understanding of the technical, commercial and legislative constraints which control the industry. This is why companies such as Shell and BP rely on Clovemead to provide a national environmental incident response to contain and assess possible incidents.

Our project management skills are applied to build teams that share client objectives. Not only is each site different but so are the needs of each client; the basis of our appointment would be designed to suit your business.

We maintain our own teams of fully trained staff at strategic locations throughout the UK to ensure fast response and appropriate action, minimising risk to personnel, plant and public. Incident reporting is through a permanently manned help desk, which is designed to fully brief the response team and keep you informed of progress.

Phase 1 Response - Rapid deployment of trained engineers to assess, minimise contamination migration pathways and report back action requirements.

Phase 2 Evaluation - The scope of the works, the methods of investigation and range of laboratory analysis required will depend on the result of Phase 1.

Phase 3 Remediation - Site specific, cost effective solutions are provided to limit the clients exposure to environmental liability and minimise any associated costs.

Solutions may include soil extraction and disposal, insitu product recovery, vapour extraction/air sparge system and bio-remediation techniques
